Profile
After receiving my MSc and Ph.D. degrees in 2014 and 2017 from Tsinghua University, China, I joined Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, as an Assistant Professor. In 2019 I took up a research fellow post at the University of Warwick, UK. Currently, I am a Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering and the primary link from Swansea University to UK-ARC Hydrogen Theme Group.
My research focuses on understanding the basic science in the areas of turbulent multiphase flows, reacting flows, cryogenic hydrogen, detonation, and their applications to advanced aerospace propulsion and clean energy conversion systems.
Area of Expertise
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) of compressible flow, multiphase flow, and reacting flow.
- Supersonic combustion.
- Detonation.
- Combustion for advanced aerospace propulsion.
- Hydrogen energy applications such as pressurised releases cryogenic hydrogen jets
