Speakers: Paul Kirkham, Academic Manager, Altair Engineering Inc.

Paul Kirkham is currently an Academic Manager at Altair, based in Bath, United Kingdom, and brings extensive experience from previous roles in the company, as well as GKN Aerospace. He is actively involved in promoting academic use of Altair’s commercial software and regularly participates in outreach activities—including events, seminars, and curriculum integration for academic partners such as Birmingham City University.​ Paul also previously worked as a Key Account Manager in the Automotive & Motorsport sectors at Altair, leveraging his technical expertise to support industry and research collaborators. His network includes collaborations with engineering teams, academic societies, and student organizations to foster innovation and skill development in engineering disciplines.​ He is recognized for driving academic partnerships, delivering workshops, and facilitating access to advanced software tools for research and professional growth.
