Overview of the Conference:

The 18 September 2025, was truly special! Thank you to everyone who brought their curiosity and positive spirit to Swansea University for the Continuum Robotics Workshop. Your enthusiasm lifted every moment of the day—from inspiring keynotes and rapid research pitches to the lively panel and our dinner with a view over the city.
Our programme covered an outstanding diversity of topics: Mechanics, advanced materials, novel sensors, AI and machine learning, bioinspiration, human-in-the-loop robotics, deep learning, and physical awareness for robots. The breadth of ideas, together with the depth of the discussions, was remarkable. It’s clear there’s enormous potential here, and I am confident a lot of the ideas and collaborations sparked yesterday will continue to flourish.
