Andrew Tappenden’s research and teaching interests lie in mechanical design, focusing on using parametric designs to make bespoke components through optimisation using finite element analysis (FEA) simulations.
His current research involves the development of customisable VR equipment to allow the inclusivity of all users into this new technology which is currently not suitable for all.
