Project Overview
The operational scheme of a drone named SALUS in search and rescue (SAR) operations. The project focuses on the importance of feedback from the drone to the user or control station, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the situation and aiding in decision-making. Cloud connectivity is an essential component for seamless communication.
AEGIS uses of speech synthesis technology and artificial intelligence to transform written feedback from the drone into audible voice communications. This feature enables individuals lacking technical expertise or in high-pressure circumstances to quickly receive crucial information and respond effectively. The technology can be used for communication with rescued individuals, providing protocol information or acting as a mode of general communication.
AEGIS aim to operates scenarios where the drone is deployed in challenging environments, such as extensive forests or areas affected by catastrophic events, where conventional communication methods may be compromised. It aims to use of people recognition, specific facial recognition, and specific patrol strategies to efficiently navigate and perform tasks in real-time.
An essential part of the platform is achieving faster and accurate 3D reconstructions with optimized power consumption. The advanced features of SALUS, including voice commands and face recognition, streamline operator-drone interaction and facilitate autonomous responses to identified individuals will enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of SAR drone operations.
