Overview of the Event:

The WDTN Annual Conference 2026 is a two-day event bringing together researchers, practitioners, industry partners and public sector stakeholders working across the digital twin landscape. The conference will take place at Cardiff University, Queen’s Building on 13 and 14 May 2026. This year, plenary lectures will be delivered by leading experts in digital twins from a range of fields, from nuclear fusion to cybersecurity.

This event will be of particular interest to colleagues working on:

– Computational and mathematical modelling
– Digital twins and simulation
– AI and machine learning methods
– Data driven and data science focused projects
– Interdisciplinary digital research and innovation

Furthermore, we invite the submission of one-page poster abstracts (PDF format) for PGR students and ECRs, as well as other researchers. High-quality submissions will be selected for oral presentation as part of the conference programme. Although the original deadline has passed, poster abstracts can still be submitted directly via email to wdtn@swansea.ac.uk until 24 April 2026.
